Hello, wonderlandians I hope you all Had a great weekend. Unfortunately, I’ve been sleeping all weekend. So I just want to say this going to be a really short post, unfortunately, there is not going to be a Jan Jam Jar update for this week. I’ve been really tired from the mono and have really been taking this week off from reading. I have been listening to audiobooks but mainly I’ve just been sleeping trying to gather my strength and recover. I just want to say again I’m sorry. There should be my last and final Jan Jam Jam Update for this month and next week will be my last post for this month. I know that there’s going to be another challenge going on I haven’t quite decided if I’m going to be participating in that just because this month I really didn’t read any of the books for this TBR list. I’m going to have to go ahead and read the rules for this next challenge and see if I can kind of tweaked it to my personal reading Style. I don’t really do well with TBR list.
Thank you all for joining me here and our little part of a Wonderland I hope your weekend is going well. Don’t forget to feed the unicorns on your way out as they are giving out free rides.
Until next time
Hello, wonderlandians. Happy Sunday. So today this post is late I know that it is I am sorry. Sundays are kind of my lazy days so posts are going to go up a little bit later and by a little bit later I mean a lot later. I have been really debating this past week on if I wanted to continue with the Jan Jam Jar series. I have not touched my first book that I picked out for this challenge in this past two weeks. I know for a fact I’m not in the mood to read that book right now. that’s okay though because the beauty of this challenges is I have a lot of books to read this month so after debating with myself and asking if it was really worth continuing I decided yes it was. So I went back to my jar and I picked out another book to read. You can see those pictures down below.
The book I ended up choosing was what if everyone knew your name. This is a choose your own destiny novel. This is the book that really solidified my love for reading. So I am so excited to read this I plan on doing a read-through of it twice. I would love to challenge myself to recreate the story that I did in high school and then I want to read it a second time and create a whole new story for the main character. I got this book at a time in my life when my OCD was starting to get really bad. I couldn’t really leave my house at the when I got this book and I remember being so bored one day that my mom was like go pick up a book to read. In my head, I’m like no reading is boring but I remembered I had this book and it was a choose your own destiny novel. I remember reading through this really quickly and then having to have the next one in the series. So in one of the pictures you see 8 of these books I have all 8 I am obsessed with them. This is a book series I will never get rid of I will pass it down to my children when they get older. You know when I have kids. So this is what I will be reading for the next week and then we’ll have another update next Sunday.
Until next time
Hello, wonderlandians! It is Sunday which means tomorrow we all go back to work. What have you guys done today? Let me tell you what I did today I did something really exciting. I went to go see the greatest Showman with my mom and my two sisters today. I have got to say it was probably one of the greatest movies I’ve seen in a really long time. The whole production of the movie from the songs to the acting was incredible and over-the-top which for this movie really worked. Hugh Jackman is an incredible actor. He can go from being the badass Wolverine to a singing dancing amazing man. Zac Efron did an amazing job. Right at the end of the movie really clicked for me what this movie was about. as movies ending I look to my mother and I’m like this movie is about the Barnum & Bailey Circus isn’t it. She turns to me and she’s like how is this just now registering with you. I didn’t know like I knew it was about like a circus but like it didn’t click that it was like the circus.
Anyway, this is not what you guys are here for you clicked on this post to figure out how I’m doing in my challenge. Last week I picked out a book and I had every intention of reading it but then my mood kind of changed and I haven’t been reading that book. So all the books I’ve been reading lately have had to do with motorcycle clubs and that’s not part of my challenge for January. So I am still currently reading Once a Witch.
I really want to keep updating you guys every Sunday on how the challenge is going for this month and so we are only on day number 7 of January so I have a feeling I will be able to definitely get this book done as well as some other books to.
As always thank you guys for joining me here in our little part of Wonderland. Don’t forget to feed the unicorns on your way out. They have been getting rides to anybody who’s been giving them treats. Also if you give them a little pat they will sprinkle a little good luck Magic on you.
Until next time
Hello, my wonderlandians! I hope you guys are having an awesome New Year’s Eve night. I hope it is filled with lots of friends and family and love and unicorn magic all around you. I was doing my first pick of the year for the Jan Jam Jar challenge by Books and Munches. I picked out an awesome book called once a witch. This is a book that I’ve read many times before and it is going to be an awesome way to start the year off.
So if you guys keep scrolling down you will see the pictures of me picking out my book I don’t know what this is how I’m going to continue doing it in the future I was kind of at the last minute this paste take the pictures. since I am a photographer there are a lot of things that would be really cool to incorporate with this specific challenge in terms of what I can do photography wise with my Jam Jar. So I’m hoping that the next Set of pictures will be a little bit better and the lighting will be a little bit better too. But today I was with family and friends so I was kind of scrambling to get this blog post up by yeah I’m really excited for the new year.
Have you guys made any New Year’s resolutions? How about book resolutions for the new year? Do you guys have any idea of how many books you want to read for the new year? leave me a comment letting me know.
Thank you for joining me and our little part of Wonderland. As always don’t forget to feed the unicorns on your way out. Tonight they are throwing a party to welcome in the new year and everybody is welcome and treats are always welcome.
Until next time
I hope today is going good for you. This is post is pre-scheduled. I will be sleeping in. Trying to recover from a long night of reading and yesterdays day of work.
Here is my list of things that I need to do today!
- Sleep in
- Read some more
- Do my hair and makeup
- Get ready to go to church with my boyfriends family
- Go to my grandparents to open up presents
- Go home and sleep because Christmas is going to be BUSY! I have three house to get to in like a 12 hour span of time.
Today I wanted to give you an update about how my Jan Jam Jar reading challenge is coming together. If you guys want to know that the Jan Jam Jar challenge is please click here.
So I am putting together my jar for this challenge and I have 10 books far. I think I might be adding more. I know for a fact that in the first month of the year I usually read about 10 or more books. So I really want to aim high next year to really knocking all the books from my TBR.
I have decided that I will be posting updates on Sundays. Then the last day of the month is on a Wednesday and I will be making an extra post on that to wrap up the month.
Well this is all I have for you today. Have a happy and safe day.
Thank you for taking a break from your holiday fun and joining me here in our Wonderland. Fun fact did you guys know that it is actually unicorns that fly Santa sleigh? No, because that really wanted to keep their existence away from us humans. So if you feed them a treat they will grant you a wish, but they will also take you up for a ride.
Until next time
Hello, wonderlandians! One thing I am terrible at is getting my TBR pile down to a minuscule number.
(This is an accurate representation of my dancing through my TBR pile.)
I have a ton of books sitting on my bookshelf, on my Kindle bookshelf, on my library bookshelf, and my audible bookshelf. The one thing about the library bookshelf is that after 21 days my books go back to the library so whether I’ve read them or not they are gone. Over this last year, I have accumulated a lot of physical books. I typically tend to listen to an audiobook exclusively at least for the past two years I really haven’t picked up a physical book or an ebook. Timmy audiobooks are a real time-saver I can listen to the books anywhere. Also, I have the ability to have many books on hand at one time.
So I just decided to join Books and Munches in doing the January Jam Jar. This is a challenge where you take your December TBR list and you put it into a jar for January. Now I’m very much a mood reader so I’m really hoping that the books that I’m putting into this jar are going to want to read. anyway, I know that there are a lot of books that I want to get to so I guess I’m calling that my December TBR. I typically don’t do TBR is because I never end up reading what is on the list. But I feel that the books that I’m choosing to put as my December TBR into my January I’m really excited for. I will make another Post in the beginning of January with my list of books that I want to read for that month.
I encourage everybody to do this and what a shrink our TBR piles for the next year! If you guys want to participate make a blog post announcing that you are going to be doing this.
In that same post if you want to lift the books that you will be reading or you can make a separate post altogether. If you guys are going to be sharing your experience on other social media make sure to use the #JanJamJar. This way we are all able to follow what you guys are doing and we can interact and make January an awesome month for reading. I’m going to leave a link to the original post where Books and munches describes what the challenge is all about and I hope you guys join in on this and we can have an awesome reading year.

I have some really exciting posts coming up within the next couple of weeks also through January that I’m really excited about. Also, I just want to take a quick moment to say thank you to everybody who has been following this blog. I am fairly new to the blogging world and all of the support that I’ve been getting means so much to me. So thank you guys so much!
Thank you guys for joining me here once again in our part of Wonderland. As we are approaching closer to Christmas the unicorns are feeling extremely generous so they are granting wishes and laughed so make sure to Feed them a tree on your way out.
Until next time
