Hello, wonderlandians. I swear this week is like the flash because it went by fast.
I hope you all have had a great week. What are your plans for this weekend? I am working tomorrow and then I’m going to go play some laser tag. Let’s get this weekend started off right.
1 – Shattered Rose
“For any girl who has struggled to love herself.” –Tammy L. Gray
Avery Nichols knows how to wear the mask. Perfect student, perfect daughter and perfect friend. Nobody would ever guess that inside Avery is a prisoner to her own self loathing.
Then she meets him…and everything changes.
Handsome, charming and self assured, Jake Matthews sweeps Avery off her feet in an effortless fashion. Avery knows that Jake is everything she needs and all she has ever wanted.
She would destroy herself to be loved by him…until he walks away.
Broken and lost, Avery meets Parker. His genuine, caring nature reaches past the mask and the shattered pieces of her heart slowly begin to heal. But just when Avery starts to feel whole again, she faces the impossible truth.
Jake never really left.
2 – The Mind Readers
Cameron Winters is a freak. Fortunately, no one but her family knows the truth …that Cameron can read minds. For years Cameron has hidden behind a facade of normalcy, warned that there are those who would do her harm. When gorgeous and mysterious Lewis Douglas arrives he destroys everything Cameron has ever believed and tempts her with possibilities of freedom. Determined to embrace her hidden talents, Cameron heads to a secret haven with Lewis; a place where she meets others like her, Mind Readers.
But as Cameron soon finds out some things are too good to be true. When the Mind Readers realize the extent of Cameron’s abilities, they want to use her powers for their own needs. Cameron suddenly finds herself involved in a war in which her idea of what is right and wrong is greatly tested. In the end she’ll be forced to make a choice that will not only threaten her relationship with Lewis, but her very life.
Alexis Wyndham is the other type of Queen B—the Queen B*tch.
After years of being the subject of ridicule, she revels in her ability to make the in-crowd cower via the exposés on her blog, The Eastline Spy. Now that she’s carved out her place in the high school hierarchy, she uses her position to help the unpopular kids walking the hallways.
Saving a freshman from bullies? Check.
Swapping insults with the head cheerleader? Check.
Falling for the star quarterback? So not a part of her plan.
But when Brett offers to help her solve the mystery of who’s posting X-rated videos from the girls’ locker room, she’ll have to swallow her pride and learn to see past the high school stereotypes she’s never questioned—until now.
These bikers are possessive, bossy & dirty.
Their women give as good as they get.
If you don’t love dirty alphas, this series isn’t for you.
The Storm MC Collection contains the first four books in this biker series that many say reminds them of Sons of Anarchy. If you like fast-paced, sexy biker romance full of bossy alphas, you’ll love this bestselling series.
Have read and do own. Highly recommend.
His hard body is pressed against my back and I can’t look away from our reflection in the mirror.
One of his hands leaves my breast and vanishes, unseen but not unfelt.
I never thought I’d bury my brother.
Brian Hatcher has a lot of nerve, I thought I’d never see his face again.
He left the police force to join the Iron Tornadoes, the very gang my brother was investigating.
I hate him.
I should hate him.
I want to hate him.
He has turned his back on everything he used to stand for.
Yet I want him, even though he’s turned into a stone cold biker.
I wanted to give you a variety this week. I have been back and forth with YA this week and MC romances. So I thought this could be cool. If you check any of these out let me know what you think.
Thank you all for joining me here me in our little part of wonderland. Please don’t forget to feed the unicorns on your way out.
Until next time
