January Jam Jar

Hello, wonderlandians! One thing I am terrible at is getting my TBR pile down to a minuscule number.

(This is an accurate representation of my dancing through my TBR pile.)

I have a ton of books sitting on my bookshelf, on my Kindle bookshelf, on my library bookshelf, and my audible bookshelf. The one thing about the library bookshelf is that after 21 days my books go back to the library so whether I’ve read them or not they are gone. Over this last year, I have accumulated a lot of physical books. I typically tend to listen to an audiobook exclusively at least for the past two years I really haven’t picked up a physical book or an ebook. Timmy audiobooks are a real time-saver I can listen to the books anywhere. Also, I have the ability to have many books on hand at one time.

So I just decided to join Books and Munches in doing the January Jam Jar. This is a challenge where you take your December TBR list and you put it into a jar for January. Now I’m very much a mood reader so I’m really hoping that the books that I’m putting into this jar are going to want to read.  anyway, I know that there are a lot of books that I want to get to so I guess I’m calling that my December TBR. I typically don’t do TBR is because I never end up reading what is on the list. But I feel that the books that I’m choosing to put as my December TBR into my January I’m really excited for. I will make another Post in the beginning of January with my list of books that I want to read for that month.

I encourage everybody to do this and what a shrink our TBR piles for the next year! If you guys want to participate make a blog post announcing that you are going to be doing this.

In that same post if you want to lift the books that you will be reading or you can make a separate post altogether. If you guys are going to be sharing your experience on other social media make sure to use the #JanJamJar. This way we are all able to follow what you guys are doing and we can interact and make January an awesome month for reading. I’m going to leave a link to the original post where Books and munches describes what the challenge is all about and I hope you guys join in on this and we can have an awesome reading year.

I have some really exciting posts coming up within the next couple of weeks also through January that I’m really excited about. Also, I just want to take a quick moment to say thank you to everybody who has been following this blog. I am fairly new to the blogging world and all of the support that I’ve been getting means so much to me. So thank you guys so much!

Thank you guys for joining me here once again in our part of Wonderland. As we are approaching closer to Christmas the unicorns are feeling extremely generous so they are granting wishes and laughed so make sure to Feed them a tree on your way out.

Until next time

Much love

Cover Reveal – Cross Storke

Hello, wonderlandians! How is your week going? We have another cover reveal today. Thanks, Xpresso Tours for letting me be apart of this.

Cross Stroke
Elizabeth Hartey
Publication date: January 16th 2018
Genres: Contemporary, New Adult, Romance

One night left my heart shattered and my reputation ruined, and now my only hope is to transfer to another university far from home. Although I’m a champion figure skater and am used to succeeding, I can’t dump the burden of distrust and intimacy I’m carrying.

But when I literally crash into the cocky captain of the hockey team, sparks fly, and the attraction is as undeniable as it is unwanted.

No way is this arrogant hottie the one to help me move past my fears. Or is he…?

Overwhelmed with guilt and remorse, I can’t forget the tragic accident that killed my first love. To avoid ever feeling that kind of agonizing loss again, I vow to stick with one-night stands with every puck bunny who glides my way and focus on keeping my position on the hockey team.

But after I meet a feisty figure skater and am then thrown together with her as a lab partner, I find I want to melt the icy walls we’ve built around our hearts.

If we don’t strangle each other first.

Author Bio:

As a lover of the northeast US, my husband and I moved to the Poconos several years ago to open a Chiropractic Clinic. Four children and a menagerie of animals later, I have finally found time to fulfill my lifelong dream of writing novels. A dreamer at heart, romance is—of course—the genre I spend most of my time writing and reading into the wee hours of the morning. However, if it’s a good book, any genre can keep me immersed in the story for hours.

When I’m not juggling work responsibilities and writing, I enjoy baking, knitting, traveling, hiking the beautiful hills and woods around my home and spending time with my family.
